La familia celestial es la familia eterna formada por Dios Padre, Dios Madre y los hijos de Dios. Dios Todopoderoso, el Creador, es aquel en quien creen los seres humanos, sus criaturas, y también el Padre y la Madre de los que serán salvos. Podemos entender la familia celestial a través de la familia terrenal, que es su sombra. La familia celestial se relaciona por la sangre a través de la Pascua. Los que heredan la sangre de Dios a través de la Pascua disfrutan de la bendición de la vida eterna como hijos de Dios y herederos del cielo.

La familia, la culminación del amor

La familia es la culminación del amor. El hogar es aquel donde una pareja casada por amor da a luz a sus hijos y los cría amorosamente. El amor entre los miembros de la familia: amor conyugal, amor paternal, amor maternal, amor fraternal y amor filial, es la principal virtud de una vida feliz.[1] El amor de los padres por sus hijos es incondicional, y también es común en los animales. Los peces espinosos y los pingüinos emperador tienen un fuerte amor paternal. El pez espinoso padre suministra oxígeno fresco a sus huevos y lucha contra los invasores, sin comer nada durante quince días. Cuando los huevos eclosionan, se queda sin energía y muere. El padre muerto se convierte en alimento para las crías recién nacidas.[2][3] El pingüino emperador padre incuba su huevo durante unos dos meses. Deja de comer y protege al huevo del intenso frío de -60 ºC y de los depredadores. El amor maternal se observa comúnmente en las aves y los mamíferos.

No solo los pequeños seres vivos, sino también los seres humanos, dotados de inteligencia, siguen sus instintos en lugar de razonar cuando sus hijos están en peligro. Los medios de comunicación informan sobre padres que renunciaron a su vida para salvar a sus hijos: una madre que murió tras rechazar una terapia contra el cáncer por un bebé en su vientre, un padre que sostuvo a su hijo en brazos en un teleférico que se estrelló, una madre que se sacrificó después de empujar a su hija ante un camión que se acercaba, etc.[4][5][6] Independientemente de la edad o la región, la familia es el nido de la vida, basado en el amor.

Relación entre la familia celestial y la familia terrenal

La familia es la institución del amor de Dios, y Él quiere que se amen mutuamente y estén en paz.[7][8] La familia terrenal, unida por el amor, es una sombra, y su realidad es la familia celestial. Cuando Dios ordenó a Moisés que construyera el tabernáculo, le mostró el santuario celestial en el monte Sinaí y le dijo que lo construyera conforme al modelo que se le había mostrado.[9] Refiriéndose a este suceso, el apóstol Pablo explicó que lo terrenal es figura y sombra de las cosas celestiales.


“los cuales sirven a lo que es figura y sombra de las cosas celestiales, como se le advirtió a Moisés cuando iba a erigir el tabernáculo, diciéndole: Mira, haz todas las cosas conforme al modelo que se te ha mostrado en el monte.”

- Hebreos 8:5


El papel de una figura y una sombra es ayudar a las personas a comprender su realidad. A través del modelo (copia) del globo terráqueo, podemos ver la Tierra de un vistazo. Del mismo modo, podemos adivinar la forma de una mano con la ayuda de su sombra. Dios hizo una figura y sombra de las cosas celestiales en la tierra para que a través de ella conozcamos el principio del cielo. Dios no solo ordenó a Moisés construir el santuario, sino que también creó muchas cosas en la tierra para darnos a conocer el reino de los cielos.[10][11] Una de ellas es el sistema familiar. La familia, la unidad más pequeña de una sociedad, comenzó cuando Dios creó a los primeros hombres, Adán y Eva, y los unió como pareja.[12][13] Según la palabra de Dios: “Fructificad y multiplicaos”, Adán y Eva tuvieron hijos y formaron una familia. Podemos entender la familia celestial, que es la realidad, a través de la familia terrenal, que Dios formó mediante la humanidad.

Miembros de la familia celestial

Por medio de la familia terrenal, que es la sombra, podemos entender quiénes son los miembros de la familia celestial. Una familia generalmente se compone de un padre, una madre y los hijos.[14] Lo mismo ocurre con la familia celestial, que es la realidad de la familia terrenal.

Padre

Los diccionarios definen al padre como el hombre que engendró hijos, o como el hombre vinculado con su hijo o hijos.[15] El Nuevo Testamento nos enseña que Dios es nuestro Padre.


“Por otra parte, tuvimos a nuestros padres terrenales que nos disciplinaban, y los venerábamos. ¿Por qué no obedeceremos mucho mejor al Padre de los espíritus, y viviremos?”

- Hebreos 12:9


Todos los nacidos en este mundo tienen su padre. La Biblia nos enseña que debemos honrar al Padre de nuestros espíritus, explicando nuestro respeto por nuestros padres terrenales. Esto demuestra que tenemos a nuestro Padre espiritual, así como a nuestros padres terrenales. Nuestro Padre espiritual es Dios, quien sopló el aliento de vida (alma) en los seres humanos.[16] Así como llama padre al hombre que engendró su cuerpo, debe llamar Padre a Dios, quien dio existencia a su alma. Jesús enseñó a sus discípulos que Dios es nuestro Padre.


“Vosotros, pues, oraréis así: Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos, santificado sea tu nombre […]”

El padre nuestro, enseñado por Jesús, comienza con la frase: “Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos”. “Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos” indica a Dios.[17] Hasta entonces, la relación entre los israelitas y Dios estaba firmemente establecida como un rey y su pueblo o un amo y su siervo.[18][19] No obstante, Jesús vino y enseñó que Dios es nuestro Padre. La enseñanza de Jesús de que Dios es nuestro Padre implica que también existe una familia en el cielo. Es porque Padre es un título que se usa en el hogar. Así como existe el sistema familiar en la tierra, existe la familia en el cielo. Asimismo, como tenemos un padre en la familia terrenal, existe Dios Padre en la familia celestial.

Hijos (hermanos y hermanas)

El título de padre radica en el hecho de tener hijos. Un hombre sin hijos no puede llamarse padre. Dios es llamado Padre porque tiene hijos.


“Y seré para vosotros por Padre, y vosotros me seréis hijos e hijas, dice el Señor Todopoderoso.”

- 2 Corintios 6:17–18


Dios es el Padre de los que serán salvos, y ellos son los hijos e hijas de Dios. Al mismo tiempo, los que serán salvos se convierten en hermanos y hermanas. Así como existen un padre y sus hijos como miembros de la familia terrenal, están Dios Padre y sus hijos en la familia celestial.

Madre

La madre es la columna vertebral de una familia. Sin una madre, no pueden nacer los hijos; y sin hijos, nadie puede ser padre. La existencia de la madre en la familia terrenal muestra que también existe una madre en la familia celestial, que es la realidad.


“Mas la Jerusalén de arriba, la cual es madre de todos nosotros, es libre.”

- Gálatas 4:26


“Above” refers to heaven, the kingdom of heaven, and “our” refers to those who will be saved. God’s people who will be saved are the members of the heavenly family and they are the children of God the Father and God the Mother. Just as the mother plays the decisive role for a child to receive life, the heavenly children receive eternal life from God the Mother. Therefore, only when we believe in God the Mother as well as God the Father can we become part of “our” in Galatians 4:26 and be saved. Through the scene where God created man, we can know that there is God the Mother.


Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

When God created man, God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.” As a result, male and female were created. This shows that there is a male image of God "the Father" and a female image of God "the Mother." Just as sons and daughters in the earthly family have their father and mother and are born in the image of their parents, God’s sons and daughters have their Father and Mother.

Blood-Related Through the Passover

God’s children become the heavenly family through the Passover, and receive eternal life from Heavenly Father and Mother.

A family is related by blood. Among many relationships that a person has with others, the family is distinguished from other human relationships because they are related by blood. “Blood is thicker than water” means that familial bonds will always be stronger than other relationships. This proverb can be seen in many languages.[20] Just as the children of the earthly family, which is a shadow, inherit the blood of their parents, the children of the heavenly family inherit the blood of God.


Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life . . .”

- John 6:53–54


Eating Christ’s flesh and drinking His blood means to inherit God’s blood. By inheriting the blood of God who lives forever, we can become God’s sons and daughters and live forever. Jesus commanded us to keep the Passover of the new covenant as a way to eat and drink His flesh and blood.


So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover. . . . While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

While keeping the Passover with His disciples, Jesus gave them bread, calling it “My body,” and gave them wine, saying, “This is My blood." The New Covenant Passover contains the love and sacrifice of God, who endured the pain of being torn and shedding blood on the cross only for the salvation of His children. Those who engrave such love in their hearts with sincere faith and participate in the Passover ceremony can inherit God's blood, become part of the heavenly family, and receive eternal life. Just because we call God "our Father" with our mouth, we do not qualify to be His children. By keeping the Passover of the new covenant,[21]we become related with God by blood. The Passover is the truth that confirms we are God’s children who have inherited the blood of God.

Just as Jesus said, “Love one another as I have loved you,”[22] the children who realize God’s love through the Passover will love one another as one body. Thus, Apostle Paul said that the members who participated in the Passover bread not only became one body with Christ, but also became one body altogether by participating in the same loaf of bread.[23] By keeping the Passover, we become one family in God and love one another as if we love our own body. The heavenly family is a community of love, just as the earthly family, which is a shadow, is.

Glory of God’s Heirs

The Bible says that God’s children are the heirs of God who is the King of kings, and teaches us the attitude we should have as God’s heirs.


The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

God’s heirs reign forever and ever in heaven.[24] The kingdom of heaven God has prepared for His children is described as follows: No eye has seen it, no ear has heard it, and no mind has conceived it.[25] However, the glory comes after suffering. Like the saying, “The one who wants to wear the crown, bear its weight,”[26]regardless of age or country, the children of the royal family receive a strict education.[27] Their educational process is somewhat painful, but it is inevitable to become a king with knowledge and virtues. God’s heirs, too, go through hardships on the earth to receive the crown of life.[28] Their suffering is insignificant, compared with the glory that they will enjoy in heaven. God’s children belong to heaven and they have a spiritual body like an angel.[29] In this world, they become children and parents as well according to the flesh, but when they leave this world and stand before God, they are in the same position as God's children. The heirs of heaven have brotherly love for each other in Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother,[30] and visit every star in the universe.[31]
